The rows of the carpet and the direction of the fibre must be perfectly aligned, the seams must be cut as invisible as possible. All these elements have to be combined by practiced hands to achieve the best possible result, so as the repair/patch will not be noticable. An extra piece of the same carpet is required, however if you do not have any, I can take the carpet from inside a cupboard, or from under a piece of furniture.

Patches

Do you have worn treads on a stairway? These can be repaired by me by replaced a spare or existing piece of carpet across the damaged area, hugely increasing the life of your carpet.

Split Seams

Split seams in doorways, halls and rooms can be repaired. I recut, trim and join the seams, then power stretch your carpet back into place. I can also repair frayed/worn carpets where they meet the edges of kitchens or bathrooms tiled/wood thresholds, using similar methods.

Burns

Do you have Cigarette burns, Iron Burns or coal burns? All of these are repairable. The method of fixing these is called "cut and plug". The effected area is cut out and a new piece of carpet is cut to shape and then fitted into position.
